Our famous Sugo (sauce) used at Ristorante Sotto Sotto for 30 years is based on mamma Laura's Roman recipe, using the finest ingredients including our Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Abruzzo.
Our sauces are made and jarred in-house in small batches with traditional fine ingredients and no preservatives - all jars have a made-on-date label.
Our Sugo sauce derives nuance and a delicate sweetness from the San Marzano tomatoes, our extra virgin olive oil from Abruzzo and the subtle Sotto spice mix. Perfect as is, or use as a base.
